Our office focuses on rapid stabilization, thorough diagnostics, and effective treatments. Animal Emergency Care maintains an experienced veterinary team that coordinates with your pet’s primary veterinarian to ensure continuity of care between providers.

After-Hours Vet Services

Emergency Veterinary Services

Animal Emergency Care provides after-hours emergency services Tuesday–Wednesday from 5 p.m.–8 a.m., as well as continuous coverage starting Thursdays at 5 p.m. through the weekend until 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. Pets experiencing acute illness, injury, or distress are triaged on arrival based on medical urgency.

If your pet experienced any of the following, call us or proceed to the office immediately:

Trauma

Physical injury from impact or attack (hit by a car, fall, bite wounds)

Active Bleeding

Ongoing or uncontrolled blood loss

Difficulty Breathing

Labored, rapid, or restricted breathing

Straining to Urinate or Defecate

Repeated attempts with little or no output

Collapse

Sudden inability to stand or remain conscious

Seizures

Uncontrolled shaking, twitching, or loss of awareness

Persistent Vomiting

Repeated or nonstop vomiting episodes

Toxin Ingestion

Consumption of harmful or poisonous substances

Swelling

Rapid or abnormal enlargement of body areas

Difficult or Obstructed Labor

Trouble delivering offspring safely (Dystocia)
